I often find myself in situations when I want to hand someone a business card but not necessarily my company’s card. These are people who I meet at professional events, happy hours, or simply by chance that I want to connect with later. This has happened more often since I started to blog. That’s a major benefit of blogging–connecting with so many like-minded companies and people. However, those connections can be lost if the other person doesn’t have your name, email, and/or social media contacts on hand.
Yes, we live in an increasingly digital world. I communicate far more often by text or tweet than I do by handwritten note (although, isn’t receiving snail mail great?!), but I love quality paper products. This need for personal business cards led me to Moo.
Moo offers custom business cards, minicards, postcards, stickers, labels, and much more. I chose Moo to print my cards because of its easy-to-use Photoshop template. I created my card design to match the branding of my blog, uploaded my images to the website, and ordered 100 mini cards to start. If you don’t want to design your own, Moo also offers stylish pre-made templates. I decided to go with minicards, rather than full-size business cards, because they’re easier to fit in my wallet and might stand out against standard business cards.
The Moo cards arrived about five days earlier than expected! I was very pleased with the thickness of the cards and the vividness of the ink. The cards also come in a study box with dividers to keep your cards and other people’s cards separate. I highly recommend ordering from Moo and will likely order a second pack of cards after I share the first 100. I also think it would be fun to get my blog header printed on stickers. You can save 10% on your first Moo order. Enjoy!
