Half Marathon Monday: The Run Commute

Nike - Gone Running

Yesterday, I did a run commute home from work (Tribeca to the Upper East Side) for the first time. While it required a bit of extra planning and was a longer run than I would typically do on a Tuesday, it won’t be the last time I run those 6.5 miles. With the 60-degree weather, there were many runners and bikers keeping me company the entire route up the Hudson and through Central Park. Since I don’t like to carry much while running, I left my purse and work clothes at the office. I only carried a few cards, my keys, and my phone with me, which did feel a bit bare.
