With the first anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombings approaching, I find myself thinking back to the events of that day last April. Joining the running community and training for my first race has given the tragedy a new perspective for me. A good friend was less than two miles from crossing the finish line when the first bomb went off. She’ll be running the race again this year to support Family Reach Foundation for the second time. I plan to dedicate my run on April 21 to Boston and to all those who were affected. But after finding this beautiful tribute, I couldn’t wait to share it. #WEWILLRUN for Boston. And no one can stop us.
