Until returning home from DC, I was afraid to say that spring had arrived in New York. Winter overstayed its welcome, and I didn’t want to jinx us all. But the vibrant greenery in these photos is proof that the city has come alive again. Perfect timing for a special delivery from Sweaty Betty, a UK-based fitness brand that’s made a splash with its Soho store here in New York. It’s no secret that I love prints and neon, which ensures I’ll be making a statement in this outfit during outdoor runs.
The sweat-wicking Athlete Workout Tank in Green Alert is soft and lightweight. I especially love that it doesn’t have a built-in sports bra, which I tend to find uncomfortable. I prefer to layer sports bras with different levels of support depending on my workout.
The Ultra Run Bra is one of the most effective sports bras I’ve ever worn. It features compression panels, a structured under band, and padded shoulder straps. While the straps can be clipped to form a racerback, I prefer the low back. Best part? This sports bra is offered in actual bra sizes, which guarantees the perfect fit.
How awesome is the print on the Adrenaline Run Capris? It was inspired by antique navigational maps. These crops fit snugger than most that I own, but running in them is like wearing a second skin. They feature reflective details from every angle, plus a back zip pocket and drawstring at the waist. A great choice for night runs or long training distances.
NOTE: Sweaty Betty provided me with this outfit, but I was in no way compensated to review it on my blog. These are honest opinions.
