Makeup You Can Wear While Working Out (Kind Of)

CONFESSION: I don’t always remove my makeup before working out. Terrible habit, I know. On weekdays, when I’m running from work to a fitness class, I occasionally don’t stop to wipe off my makeup. I choose classes based on favorite instructors, which sometimes means I only have 30 minutes to get from the office to the studio. I realize this isn’t healthy for my skin and can make me look like a diva, but it happens.

While I never have makeup on for morning workouts and sometimes skip it altogether on weekends, I do wear light makeup to work and when going out with friends. I’m blessed with clear skin that isn’t sensitive to many products, which helps. But being that my bad habit hasn’t caused irritation or blemishes, I have bareMinerals to thank. I’ve been loyal to bareMinerals Get Started Kits since high school because the products are easy to apply and feel weightless on my skin. The Original Foundation is specifically designed to promote clearer, healthier-looking skin. It’s formulated without parabens, binders, fillers, or synthetic chemicals. Some people say you can even sleep in bareMinerals. I’m not alone in terrible habits. I wipe my face with a towel during sweaty spin and bootcamp classes, but I’m always shocked to see some makeup still in tact after barre and yoga classes. I am good about washing my face right after class (and before bed). Here’s a peek inside my entire makeup bag:
