Seven-Day Positivity Challenge

Attitude is the difference between an ordeal and an adventure.

Last week, my friend Emily tagged me in a Seven-Day Positivity Challenge on Facebook. It’s simple. For one week, share three positive things (big or small) that happened that day. Rather than share one day at a time, I’ve been adding to this blog post draft throughout the week to share my positivity all at once. I hope this post inspires you to think a bit more positively as we end one week and start another. Also, I’m tagging Cait, Lauren, Carly, Kayla, and Chris to complete this challenge. If you’d like to accept the challenge, as well, share the link with me!

Attended my first Yankee game with my friend Katy and sat in pretty VIP seats.
Enjoyed a peanut butter, banana, chocolate milkshake straight out of the mixing cup.
Arrived home just in time to participate in #runchat. Best way to start the week.

Wore my new Lululemon Speed Shorts on a pre-work run in Central Park.
Watched the three-hour Bachelorette season finale with my friend Lauren.
Walked home through quiet, dark streets on a perfectly cool summer night.

Used my birthday gift card at Starbucks to get an iced latte with peppermint.
Received a Reebok yoga outfit in the mail for a Tara Stiles event on Wednesday.
Appreciated the lack of humidity, which made my subway commute comfortable.

Started my day feeling strong with a 6:30am weights class at Uplift Studios.
Stopped at Whole Foods to get lunch and ate outside with my friend Brian.
Attended a yoga class with Tara Stiles at Fithub Union Square and held a handstand.

Snoozed my alarm a few too many times but still fit in a 2 mile run before work.
Watched my three summer interns crush their final presentation. Proud manager.
Chose bright blue polish (Butler Please by Essie) for a pedicure to end the day.

Took photos with my favorite photographer, Lydia, to celebrate my blogiversary.
Ate dinner for one at the Meatball Shop, which included a mint ice cream sandwich.
Started to watch Orange is the New Black after being told to do so many times.

Ran a 10K down the middle of a blocked-off Park Avenue, thanks to Summer Streets.
Spent the rainy afternoon in bed blogging, eating pasta, and watching more OITNB.
Went out with my friend Maria for a pizza and wine dinner. And met some new friends.
