While I’m not running the New York City Marathon, I’m incredibly excited for November 2. Last year, watching the race convinced me to register for my first half marathon the day after. While I’ve enjoyed seeing runners from all over the world visit New York to race in past years, this year is different. This year, I consider myself a runner and have a list of names waiting to enter into the tracking app. I am so proud of my friends running 26.2 miles, especially those running for causes or for the first time.
Earlier this week, my friend Ben shared the above t-shirt on Twitter. He designed this shirt as part of his marathon fundraiser to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Because I love the design and am a proud Team in Training alumna, I wanted to share Ben’s fundraiser with all of you. You can also read Ben’s story on his donation page.
