It’s official. I crossed the finish line of my second half marathon this morning in 2:17. While my time was four minutes behind my time in DC, the course was drastically different. The hills were tough, especially a winding hill at Mile 10. The brand new course took us through Union Square, a residential area, Golden Gate Park, another residential area, and along the coast to Fisherman’s Wharf. The fog blocked some of the view, but I was grateful for the cool weather. I’ll be sharing a full race recap tomorrow or Tuesday. I’m taking it easy today, so I can sightsee tomorrow before heading back to New York on a red eye. Thank you all for your continued support. I can consider today’s race a training run for 26.2 miles at Walt Disney World in January.
