In the past, I’ve mentioned that my workout wardrobe is taking over more than two dresser drawers. In fact, the lines are starting to blur between active and non-active clothing. If I’m not at the office, it’s likely that I’m heading to or coming from a workout. These fall Fashion Comfort and Performance looks from PUMA have me covered for before, while, and after I sweat.
Now that it’s getting cooler outside, it’s necessary to wear long sleeves and pants to and from the studio, even if I’ll be wearing a tank and shorts for my workout. The Studio Yogini Top has a feminine fit and is made with dryCELL technologies to wick away moisture. I love how the cut-out details on the back show off a colorful sports bra. The Studio Capsule Pants are casual, slouchy, and also made with wicking fabric. And it’s no secret that I love patterned and bright tennis shoes. The Carson Runner is a comfortable option for walking around the city.
At first glance, the Performance look might appear to be all black. But if you look closer, the fabric on the front and back of the top is turquoise when it stretches. This is technology I’ve never seen before. The Gym Tank Top has a built-in sports bra, so I’d choose this top for yoga, pilates, or dance classes. It also features criss-cross straps. The Move 3/4 Capris (on sale!) are thick and fitted–the kind of capri everyone should have in a workout wardrobe. The Mobium XT shoes are also a new look for me. They’re light and supportive like a running shoe, but they’re made for cross training. They’re also bright and would be great to wear to a studio class.
