When a friend visits New York and asks for recommendations on what they should see, The High Line always tops my list. The High Line is a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. When I first moved to the city, the second portion of the park was being finished. This past fall, the third and final portion was complete. While I’ve walked the first two portions of The High Line countless times, I finally made it back to check out the third, northern-most section. I also took my new ASICS GEL-Fit Sana training shoes for a spin.
If you know me, you know that I love bright fitness gear. These neon pink, purple, and lime shoes are both fashionable and functional. While I wear my training shoes in fitness classes, I also like to throw them on when I’m walking around the city. These shoes fit snuggly like a sock, but they provide enough cushion for an afternoon of errands.
The Gel-Fit Sana adapts and supports your entire foot with the inner lining, while providing a barefoot feel. I tend to need a lot of support when it comes to my running shoes, so it’s great to wear a much lighter shoe for other activities. These shoes will be coming with me to Disney World this weekend to walk around the parks after my race!
