I’ve been obsessed with the Athleta Aspire Ankle Pant since I wrote this post over a year ago. Neither post is sponsored. I love the pants that much. After buying a black pair in Fall 2014, I’ve worn my Athleta pants to work, to dinner, to do errands, etc. They’re breathable and comfortable, but they look pulled together. I’ve worn them with both sneakers and heels. I now own two patterned pairs of Aspire Ankle Pants and thought I’d style them for spring.
Aspire Ankle Pants are made with Featherweight Stretch fabric. It feels silky and weightless. They can be machine washed and come out wrinkle-free after they hang dry. They also stay wrinkle-free when packed in a suitcase, making them great for travel.
I’m wearing a Size 4, which is my typical size. The pants have an elastic waistband and drawstring to cinch at the ankles, but I prefer to wear them long. They might run short on taller girls (I’m 5’4”). The pants have two zippered pockets in the front and two in the back. I bought the Palms print on sale at the end of last summer, but the Reflection print is currently in stores. Outside the office, I wear tanks and t-shirts with them. At work, I’ve tucked in denim shirts and neutral blouses. It’s worth noting that I work full time at a digital agency, which has a casual culture. Most of my wardrobe can be worn both inside and outside the office!
What are your go-to activewear pieces this spring?
