Last week, two projects that I was featured in launched while I was traveling for work. I’m excited to share my behind-the-scenes experiences, as well as links to the final versions. Keep reading to learn about my web series with CVS and my podcast with The Ladycast.

In April, I was asked to participate in a Love Your Skin web series with CVS. I took the day off from work to film in Brooklyn with Felicia, Amber, Ellen, and Dr. Mona Gohara. It was fun to work with a stylist and hair and makeup team to prepare for camera. Each blogger talked to Dr. Gohara about a different skin concern. As the fitness blogger on set, I focused on how exercise can make your skin dry, as well as how to deal with excess sweat. You can watch my video on the CVS website to find out what advice Dr. Gohara shared with me. There are also videos about how to calm irritated skin and how to get glowing skin.

I’ve been caring for my skin more than ever during marathon training. During the summer, I focused on sunscreen to protect from burn. Now that fall weather is here, moisturizing has become just as important. Pair cold-weather running with lots of travel, and my skin is constantly feeling dry. CVS recommends products like Dove Purely Pampering Shea Butter Body Wash, Simple Hydrating Cleansing Oil, and Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Lotion to keep skin feeling soft. Head over to watch my first web series and find out how you can save on these products.

My first podcast also launched last week! Alex, a friend that I met while writing for Sweet Lemon Magazine years ago, has recorded over 25 Ladycast episodes with successful women. I was thrilled to join her to talk about working full-time in influencer marketing, blogging as a side project, and finding time to train. I also talk about my perspectives on social media and competition.

Look forward to listening to your first podcast – your blog is absolutely fantastic Evann, so as a newbie blogger myself, I’m hoping there’ll be some tips I can pick up and implement!
